Dica de Cinema II

Como segunda dica de cinema, sendo esta a primeira para assistir fica um filme que, na verdade, nos cinemas passou batido (pelo menos em terras capixabas). Pode ser em fita, se ainda encontrar, DVD ou em TV a Cabo, que foi onde assisti.

Reine Sobre Mim (Reign Over Me - 2007) traz um quase irreconhecível Adam Sandler (com aparência de Bob Dylan) como um dentista que perdeu a família no trágico 11 de setembro e ainda se encontra em estado de choque (sim, Adam Sandler atuando em um drama). Anos após ter se formado, reencontra-se com Don Cheadle (de 11, 12, 13 Homens e Tantos Segredos).

A partir deste reencontro eles revivem uma amizade. Charlie Fineman (Sandler) encontra alguém que possa confiar.

Consta no elenco ainda Liv Tyler, Jada Pinkett Smith, Mike Binder (sim, o diretor e escritor) e Donald Sutherland com uma ponta já ao final.

O título desta película vem de Love Reign O'er Me, música do The Who (tocada constantemente no filme), interpretada por Pearl Jam, do disco Quadrophenia, álbum que, inclusive é feita referência durante o filme.

Temos ainda na trilha sonora All These Things I´ve Done, Simple Man, The Birds of St. Marks, Stop your Sobbing. Ou seja, além de tudo, um ótimo gosto musical!

Esta não é a primeira vez que Adam Sandler atua em um drama, mas certamente foi o melhor que ele já fez.
