Enorme perda musical

Acabo de ler sobre esta trágica notícia. O cérebro da banda. O melhor músico do Floyd (ainda mais após a saída de Roger Waters).

Compositor, tecladista, vocalista, contribuía na estruturação dos discos com idéias brilhantes, teclados onipresentes, que é uma marca da música progressiva.

O álbum Wish You Were Here, um dos mais marcantes em termos de teclado, sintetizadores, sobretudo na suíte Shine on You Crazy Diamond, uma clara homenagem a Sid Barrett.

Nota divulgado no blog de David Gilmour: "Eu realmente não sei o que dizer além de que ele era um homem amável, gentil e genuíno e que fará uma falta terrível a tantos que o amavam. E são muitas pessoas. Não era ele quem ganhava as maiores salvas de palmas ao final de cada show em 2006?"
